Dr. Sujata Wagh is a board-certified endocrinologist specializing in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism. With certifications from the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology, including the prestigious ECNU (Endocrine Certification in Neck Ultrasound), she is highly skilled in diagnostic ultrasound evaluations and ultrasound-guided fine needle aspirations for thyroid and parathyroid disorders.
Dr. Wagh earned her medical degree at the University of Mumbai, India, completed her residency at St. Vincent’s Medical Center and Columbia University, and pursued a fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. She has been practicing endocrinology since 2005, serving patients in Gainesville, FL, before establishing a thriving practice in Englewood, CO. Recently, Dr. Wagh and her husband returned to Florida as empty nesters, making Jacksonville their long-term home.
Dr. Wagh’s clinical interests include thyroid and parathyroid disorders—particularly thyroid nodules, thyroid cancer, and primary hyperparathyroidism—along with adrenal and pituitary disorders, osteoporosis, and Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes. She is passionate about a patient-centered approach, emphasizing education and collaboration to improve outcomes. She believes that when patients actively participate in their care, compliance and therapeutic success improve significantly.
Outside of her practice, Dr. Wagh enjoys tennis, pickleball, biking, and outdoor adventures. She is also dedicated to giving back to the community, previously leading the “ACEing Autism” program in Parker, Colorado, which teaches tennis to children with autism.
