Coronavirus (COVID 19) Update

A Message for Our Patients

NEFEDA is committed to the health and safety of our patients. We have followed all CDC health and safety guidelines in the best interest of our patients and our staff.

When the COVID 19 Pandemic began, and our patients were fearful to leave their home, we committed to providing our patients with quality care by utilizing Telehealth and Telephone Visits. This allowed patients to video conference and talk directly with their doctor or medical provider so that NEFEDA patients would continue to receive their medical care.

NEFEDA looks forward to welcoming our patients back to our offices on May 18, 2020, with the following CDC guidelines for patient health and safety in place.

  • Personal protective equipment will be worn by all NEFFEDA staff to protect our patients.
  • All patients must wear some form of facial covering to their appointment.
  • In an effort to adhere to CDC social distancing guidelines only 1 legally designated care giver may accompany you into the office.
  • If you have a fever >100, a cough or shortness of breath, if you have recently traveled on a Cruise Ship or outside of the states of Florida or Georgia and/or if you have had contact with someone with Covid 19, please contact our office at (904) 384-2240 prior to your appointment. We will gladly reschedule your appointment as a Virtual Visit or reschedule your appointment to a later date.

For those patients that would prefer seeing your physician or provider from the comfort and safety of your home, Telehealth Services will remain available at this time.
Call 904-384-2240 to schedule your Virtual or Office visit. You are also able to schedule online through our patient portal.

NEFEDA has worked diligently to implement COVID 19 CDC patient health and safety guide lines so that we may allow patients the option to be seen in the office. Our goal is to ensure that patients receive quality medical care in a way that’s safe for them, as well as for all our staff, by implementing and following CDC guidelines for social distancing, hand washing, disinfecting, cleaning and PPE.
