Lorraine Dajani, M.D.

Dr. Lorraine Dajani

Born in Jacksonville, Dr. Lorraine Dajani loved her city so much she returned to practice here in 1988. She earned her Doctor in Medicine at the Universidad Nacional de La Plata in Buenos Aires, completing her residency at Wayne State University followed by a fellowship in endocrinology. She also took on another fellowship in endocrinology and metabolism at the University of Florida. A year after NEFEDA was founded in 1992, Dr. Dajani joined the team, and in 1998, she became an investigator in clinical trials concerning Polycystic Ovarian Disease and thyroid-related diseases. While the North Florida beaches might not be as exotic as those in Buenos Aires, she would not have it any other way. The only thing Dr. Dajani loves more than practicing in her hometown is helping her patients enjoy a happy, healthy life in Jacksonville, too.

Dr. Dajani is an avid Jaguars fan, missing only five home games since the team began. When not in the office, Dr. Dajani is very involved with her family.
